Executive Director
The Executive Director, under the supervision of the Board of Directors through the Chair, is responsible for strategic leadership and effective management of day-to-day administration and operations of the Foundation. The Executive Director is responsible for developing and monitoring annual budgets and resource planning. This includes securing funding through major / legacy gifts and fundraising events, developing and sustaining donor and community relationships and partnerships to support Brightshores Health System requirements of Wiarton, Lion’s Head and Owen Sound Hospitals. The Executive Director reports to the Board on activities and initiatives; maintains strong relationships with community stakeholders, donors and volunteers; and is responsible for the supervision of staff and a professional office environment. Catherine Anderson
Foundation Coordinator
The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties and office reception. They provide exceptional front desk interaction with our donors, volunteers, community members, and Board Members. The Foundation Coordinator also provides administrative support to the Chair and Executive Director, assists in event planning, and is responsible for receipting donations. Willard VanderPloeg
Charitable Gifting Advisor
Willard promotes legacy giving to Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation and assists donors in planning will bequests and other special gifts in support of Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation and other Brightshores Health System hospitals in Centre Grey, Owen Sound, Southampton, and Meaford.
He has more than 25 years experience in the charitable sector and in estate and gift planning. Willard has a BA in Business Administration from McMaster University and Redeemer College. He is a long time member of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners.
